Here at the Municipal Cultural Centre and Recreation Centre are many facilities that you could use to enhance your stay here. We are located in Lubasz which is about 57 km from Poznan airport. At our Centre you can enjoy the beauty of our large lake which is 42 hectares in size. At the lake we have an enclosed outdoor swimming area, two wooden piers which are connect with a wooden bridge on which our visitors can enjoy a stroll. It’s a wonderful sight to stand or lie on our large sandy beach (while sunbathing) beside the lake and view the expansive glistening, sparkling waters and feel the tranquillity and rejuvenation of being once more connected with nature. It is also possible to rent equipment for boating on the lake etc.
The campsite area consists of wooden chalet style accommodation. We also have 8 large mobile homes. They are privately located and one could avail also of our year-round camping areas which have sanitary facilities; shower rooms and washing machines etc. Each camping area is enclosed by manicured hedges to provide privacy and is also suitable for those with their own campervans and caravans. For your convenience there's a canteen, a cafe, bistro, and a large modern playground for children. There is also a skate park for the adventurous and a large car park. For safety and security our holiday camp is monitored by CCTV.
There are sport fields within the Centre as well as an amphitheater where many cultural events take place during the season, for example the Lubasz Day and Harvest Festival. This festival was a great success, with 9 hours of live music, attended by approximately 4,000 people who enjoyed, food, music, and danced into the night, (there were also extra facilities for their children to play on.) We also have other events , for instance an artist event. We would also welcome your suggestions if you would like to host your own event that would be in keeping with our centre. There are many sport and recreational events organized – bonfires and walks around the beautiful area.
For those who want a more active break, we can also facilitate this as we have a number of sports fields where one can play soccer on our astroturf pitch. So if you are a football team who wishes to have a break, you can still maintain your training regime. There is also the possibility of using the sports hall at the gymnasium in Lubasz and the various types of pitches; tennis etc. We also have a 10m climbing wall.
The lake is regularly stocked with fish and is ideal for fishing, so anglers are welcome. Or perhaps you would like to go on a wonderful walk in nature on some of our nature trails, in the forest which semi-encloses the lake. Or you wish to enjoy the delight of mushroom and berry picking, or visiting our recently renovated historic wooden windmill, or enjoy the peacefulness sanctuary of the local church the choice is yours to explore.
If you want a rejuvenating break in nature or a more active and adventurous break where your children will also have facilities to play, the choice is yours!
