Our Guesthouse is situated at the most beautiful village in the Podhale area - Chocholow. The adjacent area is very interesting and it is an excellent base from which to explore the Western Tatra Mountains. At Chocholow you will be surrounded by a living open-air ethnographic museum and you will find the mountain stream Czamy Dunajec flowing through the village to be a brook of additional charm. Extensive meadows divided by paths and dirt roads from which there is a magnificent view of the entire Tatra Mountains will entice you into going for long walks. During the winter, the conditions for amateurs of cross-countiy skiing are excellent. About 500 yards away from the Guesthouse there is a regional restaurant. About 150 yards away from the Guesthouse there is also a grocery store.

TOURISM - SKIING - RECREATION
Chocholow is an excellent base from which to explore the Western Tatra Mountains. The Chocholowska Valley and the Uejowa Valley are about 9 km away, and the Koscieliska Valley is about 13 km away from the village. Zakopane is about 18 km away from Chocholow and it can be easily reached by a well developed mass transit (more than a dozen buses a day). The border village Sucha Hora which is 1.5 km away from Chocholow is on the way to ORA VICE, a bathing resort with thermal waters used for balneotherapy, (Meander Park). In the winter there are many attractions for skiers: Witow Ski - chair lift (6 km away), Ski Station Ciche Gome (2 km away), Czerwienne - ski lift (6 km away), as well as Slovakian Ski Stations Vitanowa (9 km away) and Oravice (12 km away). In the Chocholowska Valley near the Glade Siwa Polana there are routes for recreational skiing. In the Glade Bialy Potok, where the Chocholowska Valley and the Lejowa Valley meet there is a quad bike and snowmobile hire.
