Koszarawa is a small village in the Żywiec poviat. On one side, it is adjacent to Sucha Beskidzka (about 16 km), in which there is a newly restored castle called Little Wawel, as well as the famous "Rome" Inn. On the other hand - with Jeleśnia (about 10km), through which you can reach Żywiec (about 20km). Its biggest attraction is the Żywiec Brewery together with the Brewery Museum, the Habsburg Palace with a beautiful park, Lake Żywieckie with the Żar mountain, on the top of which there is a water reservoir, as well as a paragliding and gliding center. In winter, winter sports enthusiasts can take advantage of several ski lifts, located in Korbielów (about 20km), or go to Slovakia. From Koszarawa you can also reach the trail to Babia Góra, Pilsko or Jałowiec. The commune is located away from cities, but it is this seclusion that makes it unique. Koszarawa is an ideal place for people who value peace, quiet and the presence of wildlife. The forests abound in summer with fruits and herbs, and mushroom lovers enjoy the harvest from the beginning of summer.Children can use the space almost without restrictions, older people can enjoy beautiful views during walks on less demanding terrain. Beautiful locations favor painting and photographic workshops. The Commune Culture Center in Koszarawa is one of the largest facilities of this type in the area.
