This is the date of the first trips, rallies that end with fires. The worn tourist trails will slowly fill up with tourists who, encouraged by a sunny aura, will return to the mountains. In the ranking of the most popular places for May Day, there are, of course, the Tatra Mountains, Pieniny, Lower Silesia, Beskid Sądecki, Mazury and the Baltic coast. Staying in these places is associated with many attractions, but it also has a slight flaw - it can be crowded. Let us remember that in Poland there are plenty of great places, maybe less known, but less crowded. In the spring it is worth visiting the Lubuskie, Biebrza National Park, Lublin region, Roztocze, Pomorze or Bieszczady. Tourist resorts are working full time in this period. Hotels, guesthouses, and holiday centers are preparing for May weekend from the winter holidays. Therefore, let's not wait until the end is booked. It is worth thinking about a May day at the beginning of the year. It is somewhat easier to book a stay in private accommodation and agritourism farms. Remember, however, that places with a good location and the right price are "like hot cakes".
