🕰️ History of Księżówka
Księżówka was built in 1934. Initially, it was a guesthouse for priests of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. The land for the building was donated by the Koepke-Szteibok-Telechum family from Warsaw.
The project was initiated by Bishop Juliusz Bursche, the design was overseen by architect Teodor Bursche, and construction was led by Józef Raszka from Cieszyn. This resulted in a beautiful house on the slopes of Partecznik, near the Vistula River.
In 1938, the Voivodeship School of Economics operated in Księżówka.
During World War II, the building was taken over by the Germans – the villa was intended to serve as a shelter for children from bombed German cities. After the war, the property was nationalized. In 1946, the State Hotel Management School was established here under the direction of Helena Kańska. Evangelical priests retained the privilege of recreation in the building during this time.

In 1948, the house became the property of the Provincial Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party (PZPR) and changed its name to Wiślanka. Interestingly, even Edward Gierek vacationed here.

To arrange a room reservation, please contact us by phone or email.
Please carefully consider the date and length of your stay, as the agreed-upon date is binding on both parties.
A deposit of 30% of the total stay, but no less than PLN 200, is required upon booking, and is payable within 3 business days of the reservation date.
Failure to pay the deposit by the agreed date will result in the reservation being canceled.
Please provide the name under which the reservation was made and the booked stay date in the payment reference.
In the event of cancellation for reasons beyond our control, the deposit is non-refundable.
Making a reservation constitutes acceptance of the property's price list and payment policies.
Payment for the stay is collected on arrival; we accept cash, bank transfer, or BLIK phone transfer.
The price per night includes 8% VAT.
The price per night does not include the resort tax imposed by a resolution of the Wisła City Council.
The tourist tax is 3 PLN per person.
