About the beach The Ostromęcko Beach is situated on the Bierzwnik Lake. 2013 In 2013, our adventure with Ostromęck began. The first thing on the "to do" list was to mow and clear today's pitches and camping grounds. Subsequently, bushes were cut and sand was added to create a beach pitch. When the initial cleaning works were coming to an end, we took care of information boards and campsite regulations placed at each of the four entrances. Thanks to the involvement of club members, a so-called "Frying pan", two volleyball courts and a playground. Electricity is supplied with distribution and water is distributed, there are 8 water intake points in the campsite. The club funded toi toi for general use by sunbathers. In the first year of our operation, the beach was run completely independently (garbage collection, mowing, cleaning and maintenance works)2014 Thanks to a grant from the Association of the Lakeland Leader, camping sites were designated, monitoring was distributed and the pier of the Old Harbor was renovated. The beach was completely self-managed all year round, the municipal office provided only litter bins, unfortunately we still collected a large part of the waste ourselves, we carried out all cleaning and maintenance works ourselves. 2015 Due to the large number of visitors, we applied for road signs to ensure the safety of sunbathers. Thanks to the favor of the County Office, the request of the local police and ours, in June just before the season the signs were placed. 2016 Thanks to the initiative of the president and the favor of the club's sponsors, the main pier has been renovated, unfortunately due to the lack of funds, it is not as impressive as it used to be. About 1,000 spruces were planted, a changing room and outdoor chess were built. At the end of the season, the main gate with 3 eagles was built. In September 2016, at the request of a part of the public, we prohibited the use of motorized equipment above 5kw. We also applied for the establishment of sanitary facilities with infrastructure and small social facilities. Unfortunately, our application was not welcomed by the Regional Directorate of State Forests. At the same time, we tried to obtain more funds related to the development permit, unfortunately due to the refusal of the Directorate of the State Forests, we were also deprived of funds. ) on the main beach).
