KACWIN is a village in the Spiš region, located between Niedzica and the Polish-Slovak border in a very attractive tourist region. Kacwin has no thoroughfare, so it is valued for its peace and quiet. It is an excellent base for trips to the Pieniny Mountains, Podhale, Gorce, Spiš, Beskid Sadecki, High Tatras, Western Tatras, and Bielskie Tatras, the latter being entirely within Slovakia.

The Pieniny National Park is one of the most beautiful regions of Poland, due to its landscape and environmental conditions, a range of mountains, limestone rocks cut by the DUNAJEC River, which, flowing through a narrow valley, has formed steep, exceptionally beautiful slopes. The biggest attraction of the Pieniny Mountains is undoubtedly the 20 km long rafting trip between SROMOWCE WYZNE and SZCZAWNICA. The limestone cliffs, reaching up to 300 meters, and the stories told by the rafters create a unique experience. The peaks of the Pieniny Mountains, TRZY KORONY, SOKOLICA and WĄWÓZ HOMOLE, the castles in NIEDZICA and CZORSZTYN, the CZORSZTYN-NIEDZICKIE lakes, and numerous architectural monuments, as well as the churches in Dębno (UNESCO) and Trybsz are certainly worth recommending. The CZORSZTYN-NIEDZICKIE border crossing, established on the Dunajec River, undoubtedly enhanced the tourist appeal of the region, admired for its unique flora and fauna. The area boasts border crossings to Slovakia and hiking trails to Lubań, Trzy Korony, and Sokolica. The region is an attractive destination for winter sports enthusiasts. There are many ski resorts with professionally groomed slopes, including the KLUSZKOWCE SKI COMPLEX (15 km), POLANA SOSNY in NIEDZICA (3 km), PALENICA and SZFRANOWKA in SZCZAWNICA (18 km), KOTELNICA in BIAŁKA TATRZANSKA (15 km), Czarna Góra (15 km), and JURGOW (18 km). There are also many ski lifts in SLOVAKIA (5-20 km).
