Chynów - a village in Poland located in the Masovian Voivodeship, in the Grójec district, in the Chynów commune. In the years 1975-1998, the town administratively belonged to the Radom Voivodeship.
The town is the seat of the Chynów commune and is located on the Czarna River, on national road 50. The Warsaw-Kraków railway line (opened in 1933-34) passes through Chynów.

In 1434, the owner of the village of Drwalew and the village of Chynów, Piotr Pilikowicz (Piotr Pilik Skulski of the Rogala coat of arms), founded a parish in Chynów, perhaps separating it from the parish of Drwalew. The current wooden (larch) church is from the 17th century and the wooden belfry is from 1867. In 1929, the village of Chynów belonged to the Czersk commune.
