The event is celebrated according to the date of the last day of the year according to the Julian calendar, 13 days later than the commonly accepted Gregorian calendar. Instead of New Year's Eve, Melania celebrates her name day. This name is more popular in the circle of influence of the Eastern church. It is commonly called Małanka, hence the name of the event. The Guest Center of the Vagabond Lighthouse in Wola Michowa invites you to a truly Lemko Little Lovers of East-Carpathian culture. Greeting the New Year according to the Julian calendar is also a great opportunity to familiarize yourself with the customs of the Carpathian highlanders who once lived in these areas, as well as the opportunity to repeat New Year's Eve among live music, the Bieszczady snow aura and excellent regional cuisine. Cross-country skis around Wola Michowa is a place that is ideal for cross-country skiing, mainly due to the flat characteristics of the area. In this part of the Bieszczady the basic loop of the so-called training, 3300 m, has a two-meter uphill and downhill 350 m. The location of the route is the biggest plus, part of it runs along the Carpathian road through the center of Wola Michowa, it is illuminated so that we can run until 22:00. The route is marked with blue poles, the beginning and the end are opposite the church at the entrance to our holiday center. A cross-country skiing school operates at Vagabond Lighthouse. Under the guidance of our instructors, everyone will learn to run cross-country skiing, and at the same time rest and relax in the surrounding, snowy climate of the Bieszczady Mountains. We also have cross-country skiing equipment rentals. Downhill skis Near our holiday center there are several ski lifts, which gather many skiers every year. White madness in the snow aura is a real fun for all enthusiasts! We offer you several lifts, located near the Vagabond Lighthouse. Ośrodek Wypoczynkowy & Restauracja Latarnia Wagabundy is a facility fully prepared to accept groups of children, adolescents and adults. We have rooms for 2,3,4,5 - rooms with bathrooms. We offer our guests full board. At the Center in the summer season we have football, volleyball, basketball and badminton fields. An additional attraction is the Hutsul horse farm located near the Center. We also organize canoeing trips for groups.

Lemkos feasts - feasts as before! For many, many years we have been organizing unforgettable feasts, during which we serve regional dishes - flavors of our grandparents and ancestors. During the event, we are accompanied by a wonderful '' Mountain Band '', which plays so that the legs are eager to dance. And whoever wants to can also sing. To make us dance lightly, everyone can try Bieszczady tincture, which still remembers the recipe of our ancestors! At the feast, besides taking care of the palate and having fun, we also introduce you to the culture of our region. Who were the people who formerly lived in the Bieszczady Mountains? How did the Lemkos and Boykos live? How were Biesy and Chad created? We will answer all these questions during this evening! Sleigh rides in the Bieszczady Mountains Before the feast KULIG with torches to the forest with a bonfire, Bieszczady mulled wine and roasting sausages is possible. We service groups of 10 to 200 people! Trapper carts, carriages in the Bieszczady Mountains In the spring and autumn season, the alternative to sleigh rides is to ride on trapper carts along the picturesque Osława River Valley, as well as to organize a bonfire with roasting sausages in the forest.
