"Kormoran" - Training and Recreation Center is located 18 km north of Iława, in the buffer zone of the Iława Lake District Landscape Park, in a picturesque forest complex over 100 years old, on Lake Gil Wielki. Gil Wielki is a large (538 ha) and very clean lake (Class I inland water quality), a quiet zone. A stream connects it to the Iłga Lake waterfowl and marsh bird sanctuary. Those who are persistent can see cormorants (hence the name of our center), mute swan, grey heron, crane, grebe, mallard, white-tailed eagle, kite, buzzard, and owl. In spring, in one of the bays, beautifully blooming water lilies are a testament to the lake's purity, as they only grow in very clean waters.

We offer our guests wooden and brick cottages nestled in a sunny clearing. Importantly, the grounds are large enough that the cottages are spaced apart, allowing each guest to relax. The entire area is lighted and fenced, and the entrance gate closes at 10:00 PM.There are no other recreation centers in the town of Kaletka (Kalitka).

The proximity of Iława, where you can do some shopping, is also attractive. However, the city doesn't dominate the landscape, and just beyond it, we are once again surrounded by lakes, forests, gently rolling fields, and picturesque farms.
And one of these charming places is our own Kaletka and its surroundings.
