Świny – a village in Poland, located in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Jawor County, Bolków Commune, in the Kaczawskie Foothills in the Sudetes. Two tourist and cycling trails, the Castle Trail, pass through the village.

Originally, a castellan stronghold (later Świny Castle) and a service settlement were located here. The stronghold served administrative and military functions. It was first mentioned in the Cosmas Chronicle in 1108 under the name Zvini in Polonia. Later, in a document by Pope Hadrian IV, it was mentioned as the castellan stronghold of Zpini. From the mid-13th century, as the stronghold was bypassed by trade routes, the settlement's importance declined, and the functions of strongholds were limited, leaving Świny's only function as a military one. At that time, the stronghold fell to Bolków.
In 1946, the forced expulsion of the German population began. On July 23, 1946, along with the inhabitants of Gorzanowice and Wolbromek, the inhabitants of Świno were escorted to Jawor, from where they were transported to Brakel in Westphalia.
