Chłopy - a seaside summer village in northwestern Poland, in Central Pomerania, located in the province Zachodniopomorskie, in the Koszalin poviat, in the commune of Mielno. In the peasants by the sea, there is a summer swimming pool with a length of 100 m. The village has preserved the traditional layout of the fishing settlement along with houses from the nineteenth century. The village layout consists of 9 streets. Today's village is located in the place of the Slavic Borowo settlement, dated back to the 13th century (the name derives from the then extensive forests). The attraction of the Peasants is the fishing harbor, where cutters are pulled ashore, and fish are sold in fishing boxes. The Mielno commune has created an auxiliary unit of Chłopy, which covers only the village of Chłopy. Residents of the village choose a village administrator and a village council, consisting of 3 to 7 people. In 1994, a fishermen's sea harbor was established in the Peasants. The marina includes a ski lift, a boat-backing beach and a 100-meter-wide aquatorium, counted from the shoreline. Access to the marina and its supervision is provided by the Maritime Office in Słupsk. The nearest post office is located in Sarbinowo.
