Kazimierz Dolny (Kuzmir, Kazimierz nad Wisłą) is a town in the Lublin Voivodeship, in Puławy County, in the Lesser Poland Vistula River Gorge, in the western part of the Nałęczów Plateau. Historically, it is located in Lesser Poland (initially in the Sandomierz region, and later in the Lublin region). It is the seat of the municipal-rural commune of Kazimierz Dolny. Part of the tourist triangle: Puławy – Kazimierz Dolny – Nałęczów. A town of summer festivals and painters, "frozen in time," bounded by the Vistula River and surrounded by the hills of the loess ravines.
