The village of Przerośl has the spatial layout of a former 16th-century town, which is currently under conservation protection. Picturesquely situated at the junction of former East Prussia and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, it borders neither Belarus nor Ukraine – more precisely, it lies within the West Suwałki Lake District, where geographers distinguish, among other things, the so-called "Przerośl Hump," with its forests, deep river channels, and lakes. Nearby are the famous bridges in Stańczyki (approx. 10 km), the Suwałki Switzerland (Bachanowo boulder field, Lake Hańcza) - approx. 15 km, the Recreational Sports Center in Szelment with a rope park and a wide range of water sports equipment (approx. 20 km), the health resort in Gołdap with a graduation tower complex (approx. 30 km), and the city of Suwałki (approx. 30 km). Picturesque cycling and hiking trails run through the village.
• The "Suwałki Region Cycling Ring" runs through Przerośl and Rakówek (approx. 10.7 km long)
• The "Podlasie Stork Trail" runs through the villages of Wersele, Zarzecze, and Hańcza (approx. 17.6 km long)
• Przerośl – Prawy Las – Wersele connecting cycling route (approx. 8.2 km long)
