W Zagrodzie U Tomka Agroturystyka Pruszak TomaszCzersk, ul. Nadjeziorna 1

Welcome to the Tuchola Forest where our "Zagroda u Tomka" is located. We would like to invite you to take advantage of our accommodation offer. You will be enchanted by the forests and lakes that are not lacking in the area. It is rare for a tourist to return to the same place for 16 years, although such cases do happen. This is the case with Mr. and Mrs. Małecki from Katowice, who have been visiting us for a dozen or so years.

Our facility is located in the village of Ostrowite, the heart of the Tuchola Forest. The closest from here to the city of Czersk - only 8 km.

"Zagroda u Tomka" is run by Mr. and Mrs. Tomasz Pruszak. It is an ecological farm. The entire farm has an area of almost 60 ha, of which 48 are forests. A normal day for Mr. Tomek and Mrs. Halinka is work on the farm and on the land. Thanks to the good location of their farm and the beautiful surroundings, they decided to run an agritourism business, which had its formal beginning in 1988, but has actually been going on for over 40 years. We offer 2 or 4-person guest rooms, bathrooms, toilets, kitchenettes.
Full board or, on request, country dinners in our canteen.

We also run a grocery store where you can buy basic products.

In addition to the lakes and forests that are a magnet for tourists, "Zagroda u Tomka" offers a varied range of additional attractions on its own premises. It is difficult to list them all, but among others there are:

- a general store, run from the end of June to the end of August

- a canteen with exceptional dishes prepared by the hostess of the house

- direct access to the water with a gentle descent

- specially built attics with benches
- playground for children
- drying room
- smokehouse
- football pitch located right next to the lake

- table tennis table
- basketball hoop
- volleyball court.

In addition to the attractions that await you at "Zagroda u Tomka", you can expect other surprises at Lake Ostrowite. Here are some of them:

- guarded beach with the possibility of renting kayaks, sails, water bikes

- 4 shops, 2 grocery stores and 2 mini-bars

- discos on weekends

- during the holidays, the Municipal Cultural Center in Czersk organizes various events such as a run around Lake Ostrowite, a beach volleyball tournament and a bike rally.

SURROUNDING AREA:
in the vicinity of Ostrowite there are many larger and smaller lakes such as Okrągłe, Długie, Krąskie, Okonińskie, Świdno, Białe, Trybałnież, Duży Lądek, Mały Lądek, etc.

The Great Brda Canal is located near Czersk.

in Rytel and Złotów there are stud farms where riding schools operate successfully.

On the border of the Czersk and Tuchola communes, in the town of Fojutowo, there is an aqueduct, a junction of two watercourses: Czerska Struga and the Great Brda Canal. The aqueduct was reconstructed in 1979. Its total length is 75 meters and it is the longest and most massive hydrotechnical structure of this type in Poland;
in Odry there are "Kręgi Kamienne" - an archaeological and natural reserve located in the northern part of the Czersk commune, legally protected since 1958.
in Mylof there is a dam on the Brda. Mylof is the only dam of this type in Poland. It has a picturesque water culvert in the form of stairs and a ramp formerly intended for launching rafts, currently kayaks and rafts with wood. The water, piled up to a height of 12 m, drives the turbine at a speed of 22 m/sec.

The Yew reserve is located on Czerska Struga, 4 km south of Czersk. It was established in 1982 on an area of 17.19 ha. Over 1,000 common yews are protected throughout the area. The oldest specimens come from plantings from the end of the 19th century, which is unique on a European scale, the rest come from natural regeneration.

Regardless of all the attractions that "fatten the eye" of the tourist, and which exist either on the premises of "Zagroda u Tomka" or in its vicinity, previous guests have most appreciated clean air, clean water in the lake, safety and peace. Natural values are natural agents that help maintain health, good mental and physical condition and escape from the ubiquitous civilization. And although Ostrowite is developing very quickly, it still remains a "mecca" of peace.

A stay at "Zagroda u Tomka" is a chance to harmoniously commune with nature and regain full strength to work during the rest of the year. From this point of view, "Zagroda u Tomka" is the best antidote to stress, deprivation and apathy. Here, a miserable person transforms into a vital one, a worried person becomes a "loose one".

Only at "Zagroda u Tomka" will you find what you are looking for in vain in other places. On behalf of Mr. Tomek and Mrs. Halinka Pruszak, I cordially invite you to relax "under their roof". People interested in learning more about our offer are asked to visit the website Contact us.
