Klejniki is a tiny dot on the world map in the green company of wild nature. The beginning of the existence of the village dates back to 1241, when Ukrainian monks, looking for shelter after the Tatar invasion, came to Klejniki. Currently, about 400 people live here, in the summer evenings the inhabitants rest after work on the famous Podlasie benches located in front of the house. It has everything that we lack in urban life. The proximity of the forest, wildness, friendly neighbors, peace. Mushroom pickers will be in paradise, bird lovers can conduct observations, in spring you will experience unforgettable night, bird and frog concerts, lazy summer will take you captive to smells, colors, beautiful nights with the milky way. And in the evening you will be lulled to sleep by a huge old linden tree that proudly follows the wind. We renovated the cottage with our own hands, basically it was done by my dad who grew up here. The old sideboard is a memento of grandma, the bales visible on the ceilings have watched the life of its inhabitants for nearly 100 years, and the kitchen countertop was made of boards found in the barn. The guardian of the cottage is an old walnut tree that grows right next to it. We give you an important part of our lives to rest. Make yourself comfortable here.Klejniki is a great base for trips to Białowieża (40 km), Hajnówka (20 km), Land of Open Shutters (18 km) or Kruszyniany (60 km). In the nearby area there is the Polish Amazon, i.e. the Narew River, where lapwings, herons, blue dragonflies and beavers live. For people who decide to stay with us, we will tell you where to go while in Podlasie. You won't find these places in any tourist guide, only the locals know them and not everyone :) You get the whole house with the yard, terrace, grill and deckchairs at your disposal. The price is for renting the whole house. The house has two lockable bedrooms (1 room - single bed, 2 room - double bed). In addition, in the living room there is a sofa bed that can sleep 2 people. There is also an exceptionally comfortable foam mattress.
