Willa RubiniaIwonicz-Zdroj, ul. Braci Kazurów 10

Iwonicz-Zdrój is a town in the Iwonicz-Zdrój commune, in the Krosno poviat, in the Podkarpackie Voivodship. Located in the Low Beskids, in the valley of the Iwonicki Potok, at an altitude of 410 m above sea level. It is one of the oldest Polish health resorts. Health resort treatment developed when Dr. Wojciech Oczko, the court physician of King Stefan Batory, for the first time described the healing qualities of Iwonicz mineral waters.

In 1793, the first bathrooms were built. The actual health resort was founded, however, only in 1837 by the Załuski family.

In the 19th century, Iwonicz-Zdrój was a center of social and cultural life. Many famous personalities of the literary and artistic world stayed here. Natural healing agents in the spa are mineral waters and mud. Mineral springs have mainly water of the chloride-bicarbonate-sodium-iodide-bromide type with the content of free carbon dioxide. Next to them, there are poorly mineralized sulphide waters. The waters are used for drinking cures, mineral baths and brewing iodine-bromine salt from Iwonicz. Mud is used for compresses, baths and the production of mud cubes.
Mainly rheumatic diseases, musculoskeletal diseases, diseases of the digestive and respiratory systems are treated here. A tourist attraction of Iwonicza-Zdrój is the historic center of the old health resort, which consists of 19th-century wooden buildings in the so-called Swiss and late-classical styles and an old spa park.

Spa guests and holidaymakers can use the ski lift, swimming pool, many walking routes and health paths.
