Murzasichle is a nice town in the Tatra Mountains. The name was created with names of former two settlements: Mur and Za Sichłą ('sichła' means a swampy area). The town lies 820-1000 m above the sea level, in the southern part of Skalne Podhale (Rocky Podhale) hills, between Zakopane and Bukowina Tatrzańska (mountain resorts). Murzsichle was founded in 1630. Until the XVI century inhabitants were farmers. Nowadays, Murzasichle is mainly tourist resort, to which tourists are attracted by wonderful views of Tatra Mountains, good infrastructure for winter sports fans and plenty of hotels and guesthouses.
