Borkowo (additional name in Kashubian language: Bòrkòwò) - a Kashubian village in Poland, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Kartuzy district, in the Żukowo commune at the provincial road No. 211 and on the Kartuzy tourist trail.

In the 17th century, Borkowo Szlacheckie and Borkowo Królewskie were also distinguished. After the victory at Vienna in 1683, Borkowo Królewskie was incorporated into Szlachecki. In the Prussian partition and during the German occupation, the village bore the German name Borkau.

The eastern outskirts of Borkowo run the route of the coal main (Maksymilianowo - Kościerzyna - Gdynia), there is a Borkowo train stop in the village. Public transport is provided by PKS and public transport of the Tri-City and Kartuzy.
In the years 1975-1998, the town belonged administratively to the Gdańsk Voivodeship.

An integral part of Borków is called Rutki.

Karlikowskie Jezioro (kaszb. Kôrlëkòwsczé Jezoro) - a lobelia melt lake in the village of Borowo in northern Poland, in the Kartuski poviat (Pomeranian Voivodeship). On the southern shore of the lake there is a campsite and a seasonal bathing area.

According to the official list prepared by the Commission of Names of Places and Physiographical Objects (KNMiOF), the name of this lake is Karlikowskie Lake[2]. In various publications and on topographic maps, the lake is referred to as Lake Karlikowskie[1][3] or Karlikowo[3].

According to various sources, the surface of the water table ranges from 31.0 ha[1] to 28.1 ha[4].

The maximum depth of the lake is 5.8 m[4] or 5.4 m[note needed].

Based on the research carried out in 1992, the waters of the lake were classified as class II of purity[1].

Once upon a time there was a large holiday resort on the south-western shore. The lake is intensively used for recreation and fishing. Green water, blooms in May.
